NEWS - APRIL 2005

April 27th, 2005
We can't seem to find an assistant to help. I may add that we essentially need help for scoutings and obtaining authorizations. We'd obviously accept any motivated person, ready to work withing the restrictions of our project.

For the good news, we have a location for the firing range.

Our first day of shooting was fine. We shot the sequences taking place at Diane's. Here are a few screenshots of the footage and stage photographs.

Enlarging the team
We "recruited" Sophie Dauchez, a make-up artist who already work with us on 2 films.

We're preparing for the first shooting session, next week. Screenshots should appear on monday is everything goes as planned.

I worked on a few posters to add to the general ambiance. It's inspired from soviet propaganda. The first one reminds you of the viral attack and testifies the paranoid atmosphere of the society, when the others are promoting the Artemis Project.

GO ! GO ! GO !
The launching party was a success and we have deepened our relationships. The work will begin very soon for our actors.

Here is the official portrait of the president, that will be present in many offices in the film.

APRIL FOOL
Sorry for those who REALLY believed me and hoped for the best...that was only a joke (I thought it was obvious).
Well, that's ok, see you on saturday for the party.

GOOD NEWS !
After I sent a few of my older films to CANAL+ for a small amateur movie program, I was contacted by a producer from there who was surprised by our project and our ambitions. I don't want to be too optimistic, since nothing is signed, but the company wants to get an option on the script and it may be possible to re-launch the project into a profesionnal movie, shot in 35mm.
Right now, I can't tell what this would mean for the current cast of characters. I don't wish to let down all the people who are ready to act in the film, and I hope that it could benefit us all. I'll keep you posted about all this.
